1. Take the Suffixes Quiz--number a half-sheet of paper #1-17

A Harvest of Joy

1 When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
    we were like those who dream.
2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter,
    and our tongue with shouts of joy;
then it was said among the nations,
    “The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things for us,
    and we rejoiced.

4 Restore our fortunes, O Lord,
    like the watercourses in the Negeb.
5 May those who sow in tears
    reap with shouts of joy.
6 Those who go out weeping,
    bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy,

2. Work on Annotated Bibliography/Practice Research for 30 minutes. It is due (printed, physical, MLA formatted) on Tuesday, 4/19. Review yesterday's blog post and the Practice Research Assignment page under Units of Study to review all expectations. Today, focus on properly formatting an Annotated Bibliography and creating excellent annotations for each entry. 

3. TKAMB Chapter 16 & 17
*Discuss in small groups, then all together: How does Scout react to issues surrounding Atticus, Tom Robinson, and the trial? What does this reveal about her process of maturation? Why does she react this way--what is her sense of right and wrong, and where does this come from? 
*This question will be very important as the trial proceeds in the next two chapters.
*Reach Ch. 16-17 silently, complete a Reading Journal Entry for each, and finish for HW.

HW--Finish Reading Ch. 16-17 with a Reading Journal Entry completed for each.
Annotated Bibliography due on Tuesday.
